Parallel Life

Life of a musician/producer/artist always has two sides. When your personal life is going great, your music career is shitty, And vice versa. In my personal experiance, my music is going great. Black Cloud is moving fast with the latest projects we've released. Got shows poppin, interviews etc etc. But my personal life is going not so good. I guess what I'm tryin to say is that you gotta keep a balance in your life and don't put all your concentration in one of them alone. Gotta give it 50/50 if not your gonna lose one or the other. Words of wisdom from somebody that's going thru it. Peace!

  1. Balance is essential to one's identity, but more important than that, is a strong foundation. For some, that foundation comes from having a solidified family unit. Others find that foundation to be the people around them such as friends and colleagues. I find that "Balance" and "Foundation" are only achieved when pursued first and foremost within one's self. 50/50 is a great way to seek balance in the "external" "physical" plane, but 100% of mental stability, self-awareness and solid identity are crucial to even begin this process. The first step towards that goal is sincere and reasonable self-assessment. Your career, spirituality, music, marriage, hobbies, family, parenting, friendships, etc, all stem from the same place...YOU. What I mean is that you will NEVER achieve even "50/50" unless you sincerely evaluate yourself in order to achieve the ultimate universal goal of every human and species...evolution. You have to evolve proportionately related to how much and/or often your life does, preferably more so (think of it as "staying ahead").

Words of "experience" from someone who has been and continues to go through it. Mad love kid. U.P.C!
